INSPIRED BY REAL LIFE EVENTS 

I created Magick Mondays as a way to heal. In the quest to make something that is meaningful, profitable and true to me, I made the line quite sentimental. While growing up as an immigrant teenager, I was always teased, bullied, and shunned, all due to the fact that I was different. I wasn't "cool enough" to my classmates and didn't fit in with the pretty girls. My love of being different had social and mental consequences. I had few friends and stayed to myself most of the time to prevent embarrassment. A lonely beginning for me. However, I figured that Society often disapproves of things they do not know or are familiar with. After overcoming depression and learning how to cope with my anxiety, I continued on the adventure of finding myself and what made me happy. My new outlook of life was being “bold and effective” and true to one's self. This outlook transformed me into a beautiful woman. I wanted to compel the world with my multifaceted persona. I became mysteriously warm, sensitive, intense, and raging with passion. I felt like an interdependent, compelling organism. I felt alive. I wanted to extend myself by trying to help other young women overcome similar obstacles and struggles that I had encountered. This is why I created Magick Mondays. To show people that even though they are different, life can be challenging, and the world may be cruel we are the architects of our lives, and we create our own blueprint. Every Monday is a new beginning, and a chance to create the life we want, so why not make it magical! We are all beautiful inside and out in our own way; and in a world that is already difficult and cynical at times we deserve all the self-love one can give. We deserve healing, we deserve love, we deserve to live a true, blissful, and romanticized life (whatever that means to us all individually). Every color and formulation expresses a personality, fits a mood and compliments an occasion or outfit; All the tools we need to look and feel our best. This gives my customer the opportunity to become or BE whomever they want to be.
